Asparagus Seedlings

We’re looking to start our asparagus patch this year and are growing it from seed.  I sowed ~100 Mary Washington seeds from Baker Creek (http://rareseeds.com/vegetablesa-c/asparagus.html) in to flats filled with our homemade potting soil mix.

It has been about 2 1/2 weeks and they are now starting to come up!

There are a dozen up at this point and hopefully many more to come.  I will keep them in the flats until we are past frost and then transplant them to either a nursery bed or their final location if it is ready to go.
