Chestnut – Colossal seedling

Chestnut (Castanea hybrid) – Colosal seedling
Quantity: 1
Location: Creek Meadow Hugelkultur solo bed
Purchased from Raintree Nursery
Planted: Spring 2011
USDA Zones: 5-9

Description from nursery: They have large, flavorful nuts and tend to be the most productive of the seedlings. Colosal seems to be a European hybrid, therefore not for east of the Rockies.

Received plant in April from Raintree Nursery and planted directly in the arboretum.
