Just over half (51) of the Mary Washington asparagus seedlings are up now. They range in height from just emerging up to 4 inches high. The oldest are starting to develop their first fronds.

Our weather has been cooperating, mostly sunny and 50+F, which allows me to put the seedling flats outside along the south facing wall of the house for a few hours each day. Yesterday was quite windy and the seedlings took it all in stride. Tough litle plants!
